The Water and Fire Cruise is a boat trip for young and old. Enjoy the beautiful Binnenschelde with illuminated boats, snacks, drinks, and live music. Bring your own canoe, paddleboard, rowing boat, electric boat, or sloop and join us! Don't have a boat but still want to participate? Then hire a luxury sloop or paddleboard from AKQA-Beach.  

Even if you stay on the side, this tour is worth watching.

The Water and Fire Tour is being organised as part of the 40th anniversary of canoeing club ZeeWiToe. They are organising this event together with their partners AKQA-Beach and watersports club Aan Lager Wal. You must pre-register to participate. Registration is open until Saturday 15 August via the registration form.Participation incurs a cost. 

The Water and Fire Tour begins at AKQA Beach. You can report here from 7:00 PM. At AKQA Beach, you can use the jetty; there is also the possibility to moor at the beach. 

Enjoy a snack and a drink in an atmospheric setting. Roast a marshmallow skewer over the fire pit and, with a drink in hand, imagine yourself on a beach in the South of France. 

At 8:30 PM, we depart in a procession of illuminated boats to Bergse Plaat. The tour takes us past the Spelevaartplas, the Schippersvliet, and the Statietjalk. Along the way, you can enjoy two live musical acts from the water. A unique experience!

From the Statietjalk we sail to our final destination: the beach at watersports association Aan Lager Wal. As Aan Lager Wal comes into view, the musical sounds of the last live act drift towards you over the water. At the end point, a campfire with soup and sandwiches awaits.
