The ice rinks can finally get back to work: starting Friday 27 November, the Grote Markt in Bergen op Zoom will once again become the Bergens Winterparadijs. Until Sunday 3 January 2027, visitors can enjoy skating in the heart of Bergen op Zoom.

During the winter season, the Bergs Winterparadijs is a permanent attraction on the Great Market Square. The ice rink offers visitors the opportunity to skate in the heart of the historic city center.

Skating in the heart of Bergen op Zoom

The Winter Paradise is for young and old alike. Those who have their own skates can bring them along. It is also possible to rent skates on site.

In addition to free skating, various activities and performances are organized during the period of the Bergs Winterparadijs. This means that there is something extra to experience around the ice rink regularly throughout the more than five weeks.

Thanks to its location on the Grote Markt, a visit is easy to combine with the rest of the city center. Shops, restaurants, and various attractions are located directly around or within a short walking distance of the ice rink.

Also during the Christmas holidays

The Bergs Winterparadijs is open throughout December and will remain open during the Christmas holidays as well. This edition will come to an end on Sunday, January 3, 2027.
