A winter story, through the Markiezenhof

This Christmas, the Stichting De Vierschaar presents a brand new theater experience. In collaboration with the Markiezenhof, we are introducing ‘The Vierschaar Tells’: an atmospheric, surprising and small-scale performance that takes visitors into a magical winter story.

The very first winter story that De Vierschaar is bringing under this new concept this December is ‘The Girl with the Sulphur Sticks’.

On a cold winter night, the fairy tale library of storyteller Noël is called upon. It is a girl who sells coal sticks. As soon as she arrived, she disappeared again, and Noël decides to follow the girl on her way through the Court of the Princes. 

Rest assured, our story has a happy ending and will ensure that everyone will leave the Markiezenhof happily again.
