From Tuesday 2 June to Friday 5 June 2025, the Walking Four Days Event will take place in Bergen op Zoom. This annual event offers four evenings of walking pleasure through the most beautiful spots in the city and its surroundings.

Distances and Routes

Participants can choose from two distances: 6 km or 10 km. Each evening brings new and beautiful routes:

• First and third evening: Wander through the beautiful forests on the southern edge of the municipality, such as the Lievensberg Woods and the Heidetuin.
• Second evening: Enjoy the routes through the Bergse Plaat neighbourhood.
• Fourth evening: A short walk concludes with a festive reception in the historic city centre. Participants on the Market square will pass by the board of the Bergen op Zoomée Walking Evening Fortnight Foundation, invited guests, and a delegation from the municipal executive.

Location

Whether you opt for the 6 or 10 kilometres, you will start every day at 6:45 PM from
Sportpark Rozenoord on Marathonstraat.

Reminder

All participants who walk all four evenings will receive a special memento at the end of the final evening.

Would you like to participate in the Bergse Avondvierdaagse? Registration is open until Tuesday 26 May, 8:30 PM via this website. You pay 5 euros per person, this includes a medal at the finish line. Prefer to register on-site? This is possible on Tuesday 26 May between 7:00 PM and 8:30 PM at ‘t Petangeske.
