On Sunday 20 September, AKQA Beach will provide the setting for the very first edition of Sounds of Berrege. During this musical afternoon by the Binnenschelde, live performances will be combined with Brabant and regional flavours.

The afternoon begins in a relaxed way with lounge and easy listening music. As the programme progresses, the tempo gradually increases, featuring recognisable music, sing-alongs and a festive finale. On stage are several well-known artists from Bergen op Zoom and the surrounding area: Mascha Gladdines, Ivo Stuivenberg, Ferry Ripson, John Wils and Rob van Terheijden. The headline acts are John Chacon and William Janz.

From the land and from the sea of Berrege

Alongside the musical programme, AKQA Beach is serving up six surprising dishes. This tasting menu is prepared as much as possible using ingredients from Brabant and the surrounding region. The combination of music, good food and views across the Binnenschelde is designed to create a relaxed ‘after-summer’ vibe.

Sounds, bites, drinks and hopefully a fine sunset: Sounds of Berrege brings it all together on one Sunday afternoon by the water.
