Motorsport and engineering enthusiasts can visit the event grounds on the Tholenseweg in Halsteren on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August for Tractorpulling Halsteren. During the event, powerful tractors will compete against each other in a competition where power and technology are central.
For the matches, a course is set out from 10 metres wide and 100 metres long. The participants try to pull a so-called sledge over the full distance with their tractor. The challenge lies in the resistance of this vehicle: the further the tractor gets, the greater the resistance becomes.
If no participant manages to complete the full 100 metres, the tractor that has travelled the furthest distance wins. If multiple participants succeed in completing the full track length, a final will follow. In this, the sled will be set to a heavier load in order to still determine a winner.
Tractorpulling Halsteren annually attracts participants and visitors who want to enjoy the power and engineering of the various tractors. The event takes place at the event grounds on Tholenseweg in Halsteren.
Op Saturday 22 August do the matches start at 3:00 PM. And Sunday 23 August When does the programme start 11 am.
