
This is a route around and through Heidetuin park, part of the Lievensberg estate, a park that is both a sculpture garden and an arboretum.
Distance: ± 1 km · Duration: 30 minutes to an hour. · Departure: entrance Park Lievensberg · Suitable for: nature walkers and art lovers. The route can easily be extended, for example, by following the Barefoot path or one of the other indicated routes.
The walking route is the best hike in Bergen op Zoom for those seeking nature and tranquility. The park is located on the east side of the city and is largely unpaved.
En route you will see: an old forest, an arboretum and ponds, and various works of art. Although the route is short, you can easily wander further into the forest area and follow other paths for those who wish to walk further.
