Anyone who enjoys making their own clothing, curtains or other creations can indulge their passion in Bergen op Zoom on Saturday 26 September. The Fabric Market will set up camp on the Grote Market that day, where around fifty stalls filled with fabrics, haberdashery and yarns can be found from 10:00 to 16:30.
Traders from all over the country bring their range of goods to the town centre of Bergen op Zoom for the market. Visitors can stroll along the various stalls and look for fabrics for their next sewing project or find inspiration for new creations.
The range at the Fabric Market is broad. For example, fabrics can be found for making clothing, but visitors can also go there for interior design materials. Think, for instance, of fabrics for curtains, tablecloths or upholstery.
In addition to fabrics, matching haberdashery and threads are also available. This means the market caters to both experienced sewers and other professionals, as well as people who enjoy handicrafts as a hobby.
The dozens of stalls are set up on the Grote Markt, right in the historic centre of Bergen op Zoom. Visitors are given the opportunity between 10:00 and 16:30 to view the selection, compare materials with one another and search for a special fabric.
Furthermore, a visit to the Fabric Market is easily combined with a tour of the Bergen town centre. The shops and hospitality venues around the Grote Markt and in the surrounding streets are within walking distance from the market.
