De start van de zomervakantie wordt op Friday afternoon 10 July celebrated festively in the centre of Bergen op Zoom. From 12:00 to 16:00 Several squares are dedicated to an extensive programme of free activities for children.

Spread throughout the city centre, children can take part in a range of activities. These include discos, a circus square, XXL children's games, and XXL bingo with prizes. Balloon artists and face painters will also be present, and children can participate in a treasure hunt through the city. In addition, street entertainment will add to the atmosphere in the centre.

All activities are free to attend. This makes the summer holiday festival a festive kick-off to the school holidays for families from Bergen op Zoom and the surrounding area.

The event takes place on various squares in the centre of Bergen op Zoom and lasts from 12:00 to 16:00.
