The good fairy will set foot on land again in Bergen op Zoom on Saturday, November 14. Sinterklaas and his helpers will arrive at 13:00 at the pier of the Theodorushaven. After that, the group will head towards the city center, eventually ending up at the Grote Markt.

From the harbor to the Grand Market Square

After arrival, Sinterklaas and his Santas set off towards the city center. Along the route, visitors have the opportunity to welcome Saint Nicholas and his entourage.

The tour ends at the Grote Markt, in the heart of the historic center of Bergen op Zoom. There, Sinterklaas and the Santas are officially welcomed by the mayor of Bergen op Zoom.

With the arrival of Sinterklaas, the Sinterklaas period officially begins in Bergen op Zoom as well. In the weeks following the arrival, various activities around Saint Nicholas and his helpers are scheduled.

Sinterklaas activities in Bergen op Zoom

A day after the parade, children can visit Sint’s Music Festival in De Stoelemat. Later in November, the Sinterklaas lantern parade will also pass through the Bergse inner city.

Anyone who wants to welcome Sinterklaas themselves on Saturday 14 November can join in from the arrival at the Theodorushaven. After that, the festivities move towards the city center and the Grote Markt.
