Beer lovers can head to the Potterstraat in Bergen op Zoom on Saturday 19 September for the Bergs Bierfestival. The Provoosthuis and the street in front of it will be transformed into a festival site from 14:00 to 22:00. More than eighteen breweries will present over a hundred different beers together. Come and taste the diversity of speciality beers!

The annual beer festival is organised by the Bergsche Bierbrouwers Gilde. Both curious visitors and true beer connoisseurs can get acquainted with well-known and lesser-known speciality beers there.

During the festival, there is also the opportunity to sample a number of unique beers that are only brewed locally.

More than eighteen breweries

During the Bergs Bierfestival, various types of breweries come together. For example, there are small and young brewers experimenting with unusual flavours, as well as renowned breweries that have previously showcased their brewing skills at the festival.

With more than a hundred beers, there is plenty to discover during the afternoon and evening. The festival thus offers the chance to try different beer styles and get acquainted with brewers and their products.

The location also contributes to the character of the Bergs Bierfestival. The historic Provoosthuis and Potterstraat are located right in the centre of Bergen op Zoom and will serve as the backdrop for the event for one day.

The festival runs from 14:00 to 22:00 and admission is free. Anyone who actually wants to taste beers can do so at the festival. Exactly which breweries will take part in the 2026 edition has not yet been announced.
