
Van 12 to 17 May 2026 state Fort Roovere in Halsteren in the sign of equestrianism during the annual Horse Show Halsteren. The event brings together riders, pony riders and equestrian enthusiasts for several days of competitions in Dressage and show jumping. Admission for visitors is free.
The competition is organised by Prince Louis Royal Auvergne in collaboration with Pony Club Prins Auvergne. This collaboration will create an event in which both Basic sports as different competition classes are featured. Both horses and ponies take part in the various competitions.
During the Equestrian Competition, various disciplines from equestrianism come together. Visitors can, for example, watch competitions in Dressage to watch, where rider and horse perform a series of exercises, but also Spring competitions where riders and their horses complete a course of obstacles.
The matches are taking place on the grounds of Fort Roovere aan de Melanen, a location renowned for its spacious layout and green surroundings. The grounds accommodate a large competition field, allowing participants and visitors to follow the matches unhindered.
The event attracts participants and spectators from the region and beyond every year. For horse lovers, the competition offers a fantastic opportunity to see different levels of the sport up close.
The Horse Show Halsteren takes place daily from Tuesday 12 May to Sunday 17 May 2026. Visitors are welcome on the grounds at Fort Roovere on the Schansbaan in Halsteren.
